Since exons can be predicted to a high accuracy but assigned to a
particular gene with lower accuracy, exon sequences themselves
are of great value as they lend themselves to experimental verification
of predicted genes,
Victor Solovyev at the Sanger Centre recently has reported the results
of his analysis of Human Chromosome 22 using his fgenesh program.
