New Genome Center Building Plans
At the November 2002 University of Oklahoma Regents meeting, the Regents
accepted bids to build an ~90,000 sq. ft. research building at the University
of Oklahoma. The major occupants of this new building,
the Stephenson Center for Research and Technology,
will house the University of Oklahoma Genome Center, ACGT,
and faculty members from Chemistry and Biochemistry, Botany-Microbiology, and
Zoology on the second floor and
the University High Performance Computing Center and the Robotics
group from the College of Engineering on the first floor in this new research
building.
